I posted it on 911 formun but no answers...

I had a Water In fuel light coming up, so I replaced filter, and cleaned bowl.

Installed everything, filled up bowl, tried to prime... nothing.

I took banjo bolt off from filter inlet and there is no fuel from LP, voltage is there, but no flow, looks like LP isdead or close.

So I ordered a Holley Blue to get me going temporarily this weekend.

Can I use harness from OEM lift pump to run the Holley ? I already have a harness. Also can I just run flow out of Holley through not working LP ?

Actually I did it. I unplugged plug from OEM pump and used a connector to power new Holley.

Works like a top, but I would like to know form the Gurus what is the max amp drawing under this harness.

Very simple setup, I cut fuel line right in front of fuel tank, on inside of frame, used 6" high pressure fuel hose to connect to pump, drilled 2 holes in frame for bolts, added a 6ft extension to LP harness and voila'..... it took me 45 minutes to install it, and actually a good 10 minutes trying to avoig getting soaked by diesel spill.

I will build a small shield so rocks from tires won't damage pump. It is noisy when ran by itself, then motor covers it, but at least now I can hear it running... ... very well

As a short term solution running it with the stock wiring is okay. When you have time you will want to use the stock wiring to trigger a relay to run the pump. The stock feed comes out of the ECM and only Marco and God know what goes on inside that thing. Its an epensive thing to cook.

Relocated the LP

Try this on for size..... http://www.vulcanperformance.com/

Eric sells complete LP relocation Kits with 1\2" fittings, Lines, Clamps, LP Bracket, Wiring Harness with the OEM ends, or OEM end with eyes on the other end to hook up with a Pusher Pump..... Check out his website & you decide.

I just relocated my LP & have 16. 5 psi. The fittings are nice & it's hard to pull down under 14 psi with my EZ & 275s.

Good luck!

Clay
