A few months ago I put the Vulcan relocation kit on . Now I can hear the LP run from inside the truck . I have since noticed that when the grid heaters are cycling every time the voltmeter goes down (grid heaters on) I can't hear the LP anymore and the FP gauge drops about 1 lb. When the voltmeter goes back up (grid heaters off ) I can hear the LP again and the FP goes back up 1 lb . Does this mean the LP shuts down when the grid heaters are on ? Do the grid heaters only run when the truck is cold ?

Thanks,

Rick

Rick,

The LP does not actually shut just because the grid heaters are on. The grid pulls so many amps from the batteries that every other electrical item gets a lot less juice than normal, i. e. , lights dim, LP slows way down (unless the ecm has shut it off as part of a normal cycle), blower fan, etc.

Godspeed,
Trent
