Well I am now the proud owner of a fourth lift pump and VP44 (stock + 3 replacements). :mad:

Because I am at 99950 miles, I decided it was time for a more permanent fix. So I had ATS install a F. A. S. S. pump to push fuel through my shinny new VP44. I want to say it made a big difference in the performance of the truck, but that might be the difference between a working pump and a dead one. :rolleyes:

Thanks to the ATS folks, my truck works again. Oo. I just wish Dodge would pay the price of the F. A. S. S. pump instead of giving me more pumps that will die in 25,000 miles.

that's great to hear! I have a FASS pump only on the way right now. Did you get the whole setup or just the pump only. What kind of pressure are you seeing, idle and WOT@3000RPM?

Dang Scott, I was pe'od at being on my 3rd vp. The last one was on my dime no more warranty for me. I just put a RASP pump on before my 2nd one went out but it had already started acting up before I put the new RASP on. Hopefully the 3rd vp will last longer than the first two. I got right about 70k out of each of the first two. Much better than your 30k. Replacing them on your dime will sure put a dent in your wallet.

I got the pump only. I'm in school right now (read: I have no money), so that seemed like a good call. I get 19psi. The needle never moves. From start to red line: 19psi. :cool: :D I kind of like seeing that needle NOT move. Especially after seeing all of the 0 psi before. #@$%! :{

I'm really hoping to avoid replacing the VP on my own dime. That's a lot of dimes. :{ How do you like the RASP?
