Am I Missing Something?

I guess it is OK to let y'all know of a first gen for sale on this part of the board. I looked this one over today, just a little rough for what I am looking for. It is A518 auto, 2 wh drive, 5th wheel RV hitch, 125k miles, mechanically perfect, some new tires some not so hot, $7995 in a used car lot.

A freind of mine here in Ashland has one for sale. It's real rough. PM me if you'd be interested. Only thing worth saving (so he said) is the engine. It an 89 MY I believe.

BGilbert: It is still sitting there, still available. On a good day he says he will sell it to me, but when I pull out the cash he backs out. I am still hoping, since it will never have anything done to it, he has about 40 such projects sitting around, never does anything to any of them, some have been there for years. Sure would be fun to make a silk purse out of that sows ear.

Hey guys,

Sure hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes here, I've an ad in the classifieds but no luck. I'm looking for a 91. 5-93 3/4 or 1 ton 4x4 with a 518a trans for a conversion donor. Can anybody help ?

Sorry it is an auto

1993 D350 Cummins dually missing bed 185,000+ miles has lots of new parts new fuel pick-up/sending unit, battery, lift pump, injector pump, tps, trans shifts great has lots of power... not tweaked at all. Bought a new gauge cluster and heater controls. This truck is not a show piece by any means. The drivers seat back is broke and the pass one is leaned back and the handle is gone. It runs and drives great. If the buyer is interested in a crewcab body conversion I may know of one for sale too.

 Don-WEht ever hapend to the motor home with the Cummins in it that you were having problems with? Followed that thread for a long time and it just stopped. Curious minds want to know.

Patience David! I got snowed with other projects and priorities, it is sitting snug in its shed waiting for me. Next trick is to pull the IP and send it off for whatever it takes to make it pump. So much for all my hopes that it was something else. Just ran out of excuses for not pulling the pump. I guess I had best put a status report on that BIG thread.
