Bypass type fuel regulator?

Amsoil in differential = no LSD...

Had a customer in today for an oil change, and he supplied a Luber-Finer filter. I recommended we use a fleetguard, but he declined and said he'd been using these things for years, and they were dirt cheap.

I was just curious if anyone has used these filters and if they are any good. Seems a lot of the truckers swear by them around here. Are they approved by DC or Cummins ?

They do have a website. http://www.luberfiner.com/

Edit : Just realized it should have been under Product and accessories - engine and drivetrain, but it won't let me delete it.

Your original recommendation was the correct one, IMHO.

Luberfiner is not listed as "approved" in the Dodge TSB.

If Cummins has a separate or longer list of approved alternatives, I haven't stumbled across it yet.

You tried to help him; for that I applaud you.

My local Mack garage carrys luberfiner filters. They are Mack's version of Cummin's fleetguard. We have ran them on the fleet I used to drive for. Had several million mile R model macks with them on.

I run fleetguards cause I am blessed with a Mack garage, Cummins garage, and Cat garage all within 10 miles of me:cool:
