Nice enough study, but I would question any scientific study of the lubricity of ULSD where the reporter can't spell sulfur (or sulphur).

In truth, it is an old study. I question whether the Opti-Lube products were a fair representative sample considering that they were supplied by the formulator instead of being purchased on the open market.

Without wishing to start a war or minor conflict, I suggest looking at the MSDS on these products and I think you will find most are basically the same thing with a slight modification in percentages of the ingrediants.

Do I use them? Yep, I fall into that crowd that keeps going back for another shot of snake oil.

I can say that I have used the exact same kind of test in the past for one of my projects and the results are very repeatable. It is a great test for measuring wear.
