Lucas Fuel Treatment

Anybody got anything good or bad to say about it. It's $23. 00 a gallon at the local NAPA.



I've tried the WalMart treatments off and on over the years with no noticeable benefits. But with almost 150k on the injectors I'm thinking a little cleaning would be a good thing.

Fuel Treatment

I have never used it, in fact never used any kind of fuel treatment in my truck. I work with a guy that has a 98 CTD he bought new. He showed me a bottle of treatment one day an it said Lucas Upper Cylinder, he said he's been using it every tank full. As far as I know he's not had any problems with it. Sorry that's all I can say about the Lucas product.

RJR, I use it in my truck. I use it because my uncle uses it in his 98 24V. He has 150000 miles on his original lift pump with good pressure. That was good enough for me. I don't use it every tank though. I needed a lift pump at 38000 miles. Jeff
