That's the stuff that cost me over $4000 to rebuild the transmission, and $1500 to rebuild the rear axle. I don't use it there any more.

I put the hub oil in the trailer axles and use the fuel treatment in the fuel.

Same here... ... don't use it!! Had it in my rear diff for 2 yrs and my rear overheated earlier this spring and it was black. The vendor replaced the fluid and said that the old stuff basically overheated itself and lost all lubricity. I caught it in time because of my diff temp gauge spiking to 300*. Said the gears and clutches looked good so he just replaced with Royal Purple lube and I have no problems since early spring..... and that is towing heavy many times since.

I've never had a problem with any Lucas product.

I've also never had to replace a transmission, rear end, or any other gear box in my vehicles due to abuse, misuse, or a poor choice of lubricants.

I have the Lucas stuff in the rear on my truck right now. I don't tow very often and it seems ok so far. It needs to have the friction modifier stuff added fro the clutches, though. I added 1 bottle and it helped the rattling clutches some, they're still ratlling mow and again, though, going to require a second bottle. I'm seriously considering switching it to AMSoil next year (only had it in there about 18 months/ 40k miles, gotta get some life out of it).
