Bd part number 1040171 with a number of 9329 in the injector itself, are these 300 hp marine injectors. The reason that I ask is that I would like to be educated when I talk to people about these injectors. This truck really runs outstanding with these, little smoke, but not bad. And do I need to turn my pump back to factory spec. s for longivity of the pump, or has the bigger injectors allowed the pump to flow more easily? This may be a dumb question, but I haven't seen it here. How about it Piers,or Joe, or Powerwagon, got a minute? Thanks fellas Tim
As a rule of thumb, if you didn't turn the screw to where the idle speed increased with the stock injectors, you are pretty much OK. That is usually around a turn.
Why would anyone ever turn a pump down
Those Lucas parts are good injectors; I tried them and they should be as good as the 370s are for the second gen.
I am playing with some Diesel Dynamics insane in the membrane injectors based on a Bosch nozzle that is even bigger
They put out so much fuel I couldn't burn more than a small part of it at the cold, windy Pahrump dyno day.
