Torque specs for the 17. 5" aluminum wheels I bought for the 5th wheel this year are:

100 ft-lb for 1/2" wheel studs

120 ft-lb for 9/16" wheel studs

Rusty

Thanks. Was not sure if aluminum rims require a different t-spec than steel. You need a larger t-wrench, mine goes to 250. :)

I use 120 ft lbs w/ ARP assembly Lube on the studs. Re check wheels after a few hundred miles. My wheels always loosen about 20-30 ft lbs.

Torqued the studs to 140 ft/lb. Went for a 2 hour drive. All had loosened up a little, so torqued 'em again. It is a long weekend here (Canada) and one of my younger brothers and I are off to Lees Summit, MO.
