I going to rotate the tire on my truck and I was wondering if the lug nuts on the driver side is left or right handed? Just making sure before I start!:)

Always same - right to tighten, left to loosen - unless reverse threads. Little jingle I have heard is righty tighty, lefty loosey. Silly but it helps.

Our only semi with reverse threads on the driver's side is the Kenworth... all our Mack's and Volvo's have RH threads throughout, and I don't know of any light trucks/passenger cars with reverse threads.

Do the new KW's have reverse threads???

Come on I knew that.

Was just checking, because I remember my Dads 67 Charger had left handed threads on the driver side.

Malibu, I almost added that the last time I saw LH threads was on the '72 Plymouth Fury III (with Paisley vinyl top to boot. . ).

My International 3/4 T 4X4 had left-handed lug nuts on the driver's side. Each of the nuts was factory-marked with a small notch or crease on each if the six points of the nut.

My last gasser Ford had Dana axles. The rear axle had LH threads on the drivers side wheel studs. Front axles was RH. On the '86, all RH.

Shhh!... not so loud. If the women folk ever catch on there goes the "Love to help you clean (cook, change the baby, shampoo the carpets, ________fill in the blank) Hon, but I have to go out to the garage (aka secret refuge) and change the _________"
