Hey Guys, I am new to the forums. I am looking to buy a 2005 CDT either 2500 or 3500 SRW. I currently own a 99 Ram 2500 with the Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear end. I have American Racing wheels and I would like to put them on my new Ram. Is the bolt pattern on the axles the same or will it be different?

Thanks, Joe

While the lug pattern may be the same, I don't think the 99 rims will clear the larger brake calipers on an 05. That is why we have 17 in rims.

I'll second that , also the 99 had 16" wheels w/drum rears . There might even be a difference between 99 and 2001 drw wheels ,which had disc rears.

no 16" wheels and some aftermarket 17" fit a 3rd gen 8 lug dodge... bolt pattern is the same 8x6. 5" shared by all model year 8 lug dodge and chevy, and earlier [pre 99] ford 8 lug. .
