Luke Clutchs

You guys ever heard of these? My buddy drives a ford PS ( I know friend don't let friends drive fords ) I recommended a South-bend but a local shop is recommending a Luke... .

I believe that SBC uses stock Luke pressure plates and then modifieds them or more clamp load and better material on the discs.

"Luk" clutches come from the factory in our trucks. Well at least my 97 did don't know if the newer ones still do.



From what I've heard they aren't rated for very high HP/TQ. So your powerchoke buddy should be ok! :-laf







Seriously I would recommend a SBC to them as well. Have the guy call Peter himself @ SBC. I bought the TST and I am very unhappy with how grabby it is, so now I have to save some extra $$ this summer for a Con O. :{
