Hey Guys,

I’m in the middle of installing a lukes link on the track bar, but ran into a BIG problem. The cap does not want to slide over the track bar. In order to make the cap slide over the track bar, I am going to have to grind 3/16 of an inch off the track bar, which is going to cut into the bar itself. Did anybody else run into this kind of problem. And if need be, can I drive my truck without the track bar?

Call luke on the telephone he will answer any tech questions for you . he's a real nice guy, mine went together real easy but I had a question that he answered for me when I called. Don't drive without the track bar installed.

Ok,

I talked with him on the phone. Apparently, I have some kind of aftermarket track bar on the truck, and the bar is both to wide and too tall to fit in the cap. So I’m gonna go to a junk yard tomorrow and see if I can find a track bar for my truck. Now, Does one track bar fit all or is there one for the 1500, 2500, and 3500 ram?

Brandon

Well, I just fond out that I have a Moog track bar, and that is why the cap don't fit. So, apparently, the Moog track bars are junk, because the truck wanders all over the road, and it has a new steering box in.

Brandon

dberry,

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna call the local dodge dealers tomorrow to see if they have any laying around, but I’m patchin up the moog so I can at least drive the truck.
