I rebuilt my track bar over the weekend with a luke's link. Today I noticed a witness mark on the front diff cover from the luke's link hitting it. It's not installed wrong I doubled checked the instructions. Did I miss something here? I hate to take it off because it was a pain to get on and off.

NOPE, My top bolt was knocked off my front diff with a Thuren bar (by previous owner). I just live with a slight leak. I have leveling kit & hang a snow plow. I plan on doing a spring swap to see if I have spring sag with the high milage. The rough country(?) springs I already have comes with the 2" lift in the length...

In you case a leveling kit will roll the axle cover & centerline back away from the bar.

The Luke's link is very meaty. Just grind a little material off and you will be fine. I used a Dremel tool with a grinding stone.

It's a common issue. Mine scrapped the diff cover if I bottomed out the suspension (which isn't common). I just ground off a little of the link.

Ok call me an idiot! I just looked at my instruction sheet, on the back is the statements about the clearance problems and what to do about it. My bad ...
