I have given NAPAs tracbar a try, five tries. I got tired of changing the bar out every year and a half. So I finaly ponied up and bought a Lukes Link. It is just amazing now when you turn the steering wheel it actualy turns right away and feels tight doing it. I should have bought Lukes Link 7 years ago.

I highly recommend Lukes Link.

i also have used the lukes link on two diffrent trucks its an ok product i think i am definatley going to a 3rd gen trackbar though

I am trying to locate the complete Lukes Link kit that I saw on ebay a while back. It was $200 & the kit had 5 Links that would replace tie rod ends, connecting tie rod ends, track bar... . basically the whole front end. I have a bad connecting tie rod end & my brother has a bad track bar... . one kit will fix both trucks with parts to spare. Anyone know who has this kit?

I am knew to the forum, but have a 2000 4x4 with the smae front end issues that alot of you have had. does the 3rd generation trac bar completely rebuild the front end? Or, do I have to buy the 3rd gen trac bar system and on top of that the tie rods ends, connecting rods etc...

Thanks!

I also was a Luke's Link user and had very good luck with it for a while. The problem I didn't care for is that it too also needed rebuilt a bit to often for me. I do also understand that no part is failure proof but if I had a chance when I did my LL install initially I would have done the 3rd gen trac bar upgrade instead. I am not saying the Luke's Link is a bad product, but, there are better options out there all you have to do is look..... Andy

How much do the Lukes Link rebuild kits cost? I tried to get my brother to just do the 3rd gen track bar upgrade like I did, but he won't spend the money.

Many places handle the Solid Steel 3rd gen kits. Enterprise Engine Performance in Thornville,OH is a Solid Steel dealer and can ship most anywhere. They are great people and do some solid work... ... Andy

if you go to lukes links website they have all the rebuild kits you want the last kit i bought was 61 dollars and that was with shipping Luke's Link Home Page

the only thing i wish was that the parts didnt fit so sloppy in the cap supplied with the kit i have greased mine about 5 times in 5,000 miles and everytime it needs alot of grease to fill it up again
