Has anyone removed the Lumbar Support Motor. Mine doesn't work anymore and I would like to take it to an electric motor repair shop or replace it. The manual says it can't be done but... ... ...

GMills,

My lumbar support has also quit working. It is easy to remove from the seat back, but it appears to be a sealed unit. In the interim, I have to pull up the seat back material about every month and blow into the tube to inflate the plastic pillow that is your lumbar support. This tube is then reconnected to the motor until the next time I need to blow up the pillow.

I haven't looked at the cost of a new motor, but if you find out, let me know. Thanks.

Lyndon
