As we all know the time is growing closer for Wiredawg(Ron & Vivian) to depart our company and move back to Texas for his new job. So its now time to send them off M-D style. So here is our plan...

Wrench Day-BBQ-BS session at Mike Harris's shop in Joppa,MD Saturday March 15th starting about 8-9am. Mike has graciously offered us all his facilities for that day for those who wish to do some work or just come and hang out and give Ron & Vivian one last day for them to remember us all by. Wiredawg will doing some of his famous brisket. Post what you would like to bring along that day and I'll tally the list the week before so we will have a idea of what else we need to bring. Shine them up,show them off,be there for a great time.

I'll dig my Weber out of the snow and bring it along and some of my Homey burgers. Time to chime in group, let give them a send off they not forget us by... ... ... ... ... . Andy

P. S. -Here is Mikes shop address..... 104 Fern Drive... Joppa,MD. . 21085. I'll get some directions run and post them later, but,in chatting wiith Mike his shop is located about 2 miles off I-95 at exit 77 in MD. Should we allow John Styer to bring the "Nanner Puddin" along?(remember the weather implications every time he tries).

Lets Party!

Hammer is right:

Viv and I are heading back to Texas March 24th. We will cook brisket and sausage for our friends. We need folks to bring:

Baked beans and/or other favorite side dishes

Potato Salad and/or other salads

Deserts

Sodas

Hope everyone can make it.

See ya there, Wiredawg

Star Search for New "Bean" Talent

Keith:

I'm gonna be burning briskets and sausage. We gotta get some new blood out there with their bean recipies. I bet you can make some "killer" ones!

Going to Del Rio

Bill:

I'm transfering from Andrews AFB, MD to Laughlin AFB, TX (Del Rio). My wife is moving back into our house back in San Antonio (actually Saint Hedwig TX). We'll probably alternate weekends running the 178 miles to see each other,

I've made some great friends up here and the tourist thning has been fun, but I'm not gonna miss the cold.

Yee ha, Wiredawg

i'll try to make it

Hey everyone,

i am not 100% sure of my work schedule yet, but if it will allow i'll be there. Heck being a newer member of the M-D chapter i don't think i have been formally introduced to Wiredog. I know at the fall brawl in october i had some of his cooking and just from that experience i know he'll be missed. If i can make it i'll post what i'll bring later. Hope to maybe see some of you guys.

Larry

You,Ah,need Dr. Hammer to make the sick call for ya or to write the note NO PROBLEM.....

A newbie amonst our mix is just what the doctor ordered. Be there or be square. Word of warning though, stay away from Jetpilot and Rammin On since they are the resident HP doctors. They could be hard on your wallet,LOL. You are more than welcome to be there amongst us.

Fellow members... .

I am now going to post this over on the other site for those who have been with us and support our functions always as well as being our friends. I have recieved a few emails in response already from the Ford gang who always support our shows and enjoy our company. Some will make the trip and some can not and send along their regrets and well wishes to the Wiredawgs on their new endeavors.

With that being said now and having been in long conversations with the other officers about pending situations with membership dues and some departures from this forum, due to other interests,We have came up with a plan and will announce it now here and on the other 2 boards.

The Mason-Dixon Chapter has had a strong following within our ranks and has one of the best outside followings going. We always draw a strong group of other diesel owners at every show or picnic and this is where the announcement comes from. As we all know there is a serious problem keeping dues current within our ranks, but,we have other owners who wish to become part of the best group of diesel heads out east, but, due to ownership of other makes or personal interests they are not here on the TDR. We,your officers, have proposed to create another affiliate group for those owners and will do that. They will be known as Mason-Dixon Turbo Diesel Power and will encompass all other owners,Ford-Chevy,etc,etc. I think this is the best idea for us as a group and will allow us to expand and grow. Myself,John and Keith are looking forward to making the new group as good as the original and we will all discuss this during our show and cookout.

So we all see you there and we will send Ron & Viv off in style... ... ... Andy

Bring Gas Grills

Fellow Rammers:

I left one important item off the list: Please bring gas grills. My cooker is gonna be maxed with assorted slow-cooked meats. The grills will help cook other goodies and keep food warm as well.

Viv and I look forward to seeing our old friends and making new ones as we depart.

Hope to see everyone there!
