Dyno Day in PA, April 19th, Who's Going?

MIR on the 26th (Big Rig Nationals -DHRA)

just8aV8:

listen to what Hammer is telling you about Jetpilot. he is a great guy with awesome power, but he will be hard on your wallet. If i didn't have any sense i would be in trouble LOL. He helped me with my gauge install and when i left the his house my head was spinning with all kind of new ways to spend money i didn't have. i settled for an AFE Megacannon and a stright pipe for now. Until i get some transmission work done the only other plans i have is an Edge EZ.

Hammer:

that sounds like a great plan to me. those guys do seem to join us anyway. One question: does this mean i have to like the power jokes and duraduds or just tolerate them?

Larry

I am scheduled to work also, but I'll see what I can do.

Does anybody know if there are any dyno events coming up soon?

Ted

I LOOK FORWARD TO IT... . I have actually started laying the ground work for a new project (2001-2002 phantom dually street truck) The single wheel conversion with big rubber out back... . the only difference is that this truck will NEED the big rubber unlike all the other poser phantoms out there... . I look forward to meeting everyone one and if dues need to be taken care of on my end let me know... I am in for the long haul (thats a diesel joke!!! ) anyway bad puns aside I will bring a gas grill and will be ready to have a great time and learn all I can about this fabulous truck and motor

Wiredawg,

I'll bring my grill, too, if necessary. Let me know what else we need.

Fellow Rammers,

Just out of curiosity, what kind of projects might we be seein' out of this, if any?

Jim

Can't make this BBQ,

But I'm sure we'll run into you and Viv down here somewhere. Glad to see yall heading south, even if it is west of the Sabine:p

Timmy and Laverne

I will bring sodas. As far as working on truck, I would like to remove my pull behind trailer hitch. This only if no other fun projects show up. Time to start making this truck a little lighter for drag race season.

Also I have a set of first gen disk brake pads and rotors sitting in my basement. If anyone wants them they are free and I will bring them with me.

Hi everyone,

I am going to make the event, do you still need grills? I can bring my gas grill, What should I bring hot dogs hamburgers sodas beer? Please let me know I will bring whatever. If possible I would like to set the timing on my 98 12 valve.

looking forward to meeting you all.

I met jet pilot last week about becoming a sponsor of DHRA, he is a great guy, but it is really dangerous to be around a 12 second street diesel guy, it can be very contagious and a real drain on the wifes purse. lol

does anyone know the status of the decals we ordered?

George Sellers

Bring it on...

George:

Bring whatever you like. We all enjoy eating, vsisting, eating and talking about/showing off trucks and eating. :D

Wiredawg

Also I have a set of first gen disk brake pads and rotors

KennyM,

I'd like those first-gen pads & rotors. The problem is that I can't be at the wiredawgfest because I'm being sent down south that week.

I just replaced mine about 5k ago, so if someone else needs them, they should go to that person.

If nobody takes them, please send me a note.

george,,this may not be the place to bring up the mdtdr logo order i tried to put together but i am getting no responce from emailing the ones who have placed a order with the group purchace. out of the 6 or so that placed an order only 3 sent the payment (you and 2 others). as you recall the price for each logo is based on the number of copies ordered which let you know how much to make your payment out for. so without everyone who placed a order making payment we cannot buy them at the price i quoted. i have had your payment and 2 others here for several weeks now waiting on the others and yesterday i decided to end the group purchace and i sent your checks back to you. sorry i had to do this but it takes everyone to follow thru with their committment to make this work. this is not the first time this has happened. one other time i went ahead and paid for the order trusting the ones who placed orders and i got stuck pretty bad. eventually as our group grew i got rid of them though.

any questions ? email or pm me.

ICEMAN,

Maybe this would be a good time to determine who would like one, and they could pay you up front at this wrench day/farewell for Wiredawg. I know I would like to get one, but I didn't know who to contact about it. Whatever discounts you might get could be refunded when the orders come in? Just a thought.

Jim

Iceman,

I am sorry to hear about the group purchace going like that, I think Rams-n-Hogs

has a good idea, we could see how many people at the wrench day/farewell for Wiredawg meeting will come up with the cash to place the order.

George

sounds fine to me guys,,as always i have never had a problem getting the logo's for the MDTDR members but when others dont follow up it ruins it for the ones who do. fyi: i have done this for the mdtdr since the day we were born at no profit to myself. just doing what i can for the membership when i can . you can see pics of the logo by clicking on my 2001 below.

p/s: sorry to my fellow MDTDR members to have to address the logo issue here.

NOW BACK TO WIREDAWGS SENDOFF !!!!!!!!

I will be at the event, and if possible I would like to install a new PacBrake, shifter switch, and boost/temp combo gauge.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

If I don't get any of it done, I have a #10 to put in, along with readjusting my GSK springs, shifter switch, 16cm turbine housing, 370's, and turning up the timing. Also have Darin's steering box fix to put on. Depends on what the weather is like over the next couple of weeks. I'm tired of snow!!!

Meet-up

Haven't made plans as yet. I'm definitely going. A meet-up usually works. I'll wait and see if **Iceman**, FFUTCH or wirenut jump in .
