Dyno Day in PA, April 19th, Who's Going?

MIR on the 26th (Big Rig Nationals -DHRA)

Well guys as Hammer said I was in Fargo..... Now I am sitting in the Super 8 motel in Valley City, ND with a broken truck:(. Seems that my flexplate decided it had enough and broke! Closest part is in Minot (4 hours away) and I am trying to get it here to be worked on by Monday. If that doesn't happen I guess I will get to stay until at least Tuesday.

Hope everything went well for all of you.

Doug

Hey Gene & Doug, You guys missed a good time. There were a bunch of people there. Thanks again to Mike for the Hospitality. And Ron & Viv have a safe and trouble free trip to Texas. Hope to see you 2 in the fall at Kauffman's. Jeff

Had a great time. Thanks to Mike for the hospitality, and especially for the help with the injectors. :D :D :D :D :D

That's what I looked like all the way home. Wifes comment: "Yeah, it runs a little better. ":D

Jim

Thanks My Friends...

Mike and Sandy: Thanks for the great time today; y'all are great hosts.

Fellow MD-TDR members: Thanks for the wonderful send-off. Like all of our events, we had the magic ingredients of awsome trucks, super food and great conversation. This is a fine chapter and I hope everyone continues to be involved in making successful get-togethers like today.

Hope to see everyone in October at Kaufman's

Take care and God Bless,

Ron and Viv (the Wiredawgs)

Many thanks to the Harris's for their wonderful hospitality, to Ron and Viv for the great brisket they always do, and everyone else for the goodies they furnished and the great conversations we all had.

Ron and Viv we will surely miss you.

Larry and Denise

Thanks everyone for the good advice, thanks to the Harris' for the hospitality and thanks the the Powers That Be for no snow or rain! It was a great day!

I forgot, thanks for the help rotating my tires. I could have never done it alone.

Jean, who would be a card carrying wimp, but the card is too heavy.

Well I am now home.....

First thing here I need to start off with is a HUGE THANK YOU to the hosts of this fine event The Harris's. Mike and his wife were gracious hosts and went way out of their way to make all of feel as welcome in their home as were are at our own. It just goes to show the first class people we have here on the TDR and in our chapter.

It was certainly great to meet the newbies amongst us. I hope we all entertained them and they enjoyed the happenings from the wrench work to those blistering the neighborhood after work was done,LOL. Jstyer got his fuel pressure gauge moved, ladyjaine and her pit crew did a Nascar style tire rotation and Rams-N-hogs got his 370's installed so he could do a little spraying for skeeters on his way home. His smile was worth the effort as was the smirk on DodgeSales after his ride. Plenty of trucks, food and BS made for a great day. Nice to see Shovelhead has not left the building and even a visit from Uncle fest3er and his killer cake(man talk about good).

Drtrox and ladyjaine had their new '03's for us all to drool on and over. One thing had us confused though was the silence when they ran. Are you SURE those trucks are running when you twist the wick, guess they need some exhaust work so we all can tell,LOL. We even had a extremely late arrival of a TDR member who has been lurking around a while and not posting from up in NY near the Tappan Zee Bridge(forgive me,brain fart, can't remember his name). He was treated to a ride in the Wiredawg dually and came back with smiles and can not wait to get his truck. We all look forward to seeing him and his wife soon. Heck even the women got to go off to a craft show and returned with the truck NOT,repeat NOT on the helper springs from to many purchases.

Well time for my last 2 rambles and off to a well deserved rest... .

To Ron & Vivian.....

When this all started a few years ago in Northeast MD none of us ever expected it to get to where we are now. You two have been as instrumental in this chapter growing as any of the rest of us. I will thank you BOTH for all the hard work and dedication to the Mason-Dixon Chapter and your commitment to the team effort in making this baby grow to where we are now and beyond. Both of you will be missed greatly. I look forward to seeing you again soon and wish you all the rewards of the new job and the sucess that goes with it. The Texas TDR members are getting two of the most stand up people I have ever had the chance to meet. Good Luck and Happy Trails my friends... ... ...

Rammin On and Lisa... ...

As I said above,I myself, never envisioned what all our hard work would lead to when we all first got together. You two also have been a major factor in the Mason-Dixon Chapter helping it to go from a infant to where we are now and beyond. Your dedication and hard work in this team effort has helped make us a strong group that is growing by leaps and bounds. You two also will be missed greatly and will make a void hard to fill. I wish you well and hope you enjoy your retirement and all the fruits it brings. Myself, personally ,will say thanks for the time you allow me to have endless rants on the phone and keep me in a line and on my quest, your knowledge seems endless and your friendship priceless. Keep Casper(incidently my daughters name for your white truck,LOL) on the path to the power and ride safe fellow smoke sniffer. You'll hear from me out there,I do have the new number and address... . LOL.

Well,No Sleddy,No Jetpilot,No Kobi,No Rammin On and no one got in trouble or lost with my directions. Hmm,sounds like we had a great day. I enjoyed seeing everyone today and we'll be gathering again soon..... Andy

Jet Pilot

Sorry to here about the break down. Hopefully you'll be able to make it home the rest of the way.

Thanks Mike and Sandy for hosting us.

I had a great time and loved seeing all the different trucks. I am the NEwbie with the 01 black sport and I brought another newbie in an 02 grey/ silver. We both had a good time and look forward to many other events in the future. Thank you once again for all the hospitality. Can't wait to start wrenchin on the black beast

There isn't much that I can say that Hammer hasn't already said. I would personally like to than Mike for the use of the garage, the tools, and the ride for parts to relocate my mechnical fuel guage to the door pillar. I'd like to thank him and his wife for the outstanding hospitality, his wife for the killer egg/ham sandwich and their dog for policing my sandwich droppings. Once again a wonderful time was had by all ( the core attendees and the newbies) and our best wishes go with Ron, Vivian, Keith and Lisa. We wish them all the success in the world. Look forward to seeing everyone again.

John:cool:

Well, just wanted to say to you all, Thanks for coming. Sandy and I enjoyed having all of you here. The neighorhood thanked me for the preempied strike on the mosquitoes. So everyone is happy, including Hammer now, that I finally posted. Thanks again

Mike

Being another newbie, just wanted to say thanks to everybody for a great time. This was the first event that I have ever been to and I wasn't disappointed. This will keep me coming back. Good luck to Ron and Viv as well as Keith and Lisa even though I didn't get to meet them. Thanks to the Harris' for the use of there home and garage. You are a great bunch of people, and I look forward to the future.

Thanks Again

Thomas

I had fun

Thanks for letting me come to your party. Good people, good food,

great cookies, good weather, and lots of bad a$$ trucks. I'm in heaven. I'm also in the process of replacing My injectors now that

I've seen it done. Mike, I missed the torque number for the injectors. Looking foward to doing it again. And good fortune to those that are leaving us and to those who are not.

Ron

I would also like to thank Mike and Sandy for the great hospitality. Also Ron and Viv good luck going back home to Texas.

See you all later.

Ken

77 cafe racer,

torque numbers for the injectors are probably around 800 ft/lbs, (or so it seems:D ), oh, sorry, I meant 44 ft/lbs according to Piers instructions.
