Competition Dragster turbo let go pics ... what post was that?

Competition TDR Awards

In case anyone was wondering the M&H 16" DOT slick (MHD-11) just fits the factory 2001 alloy wheel , tread width is 11. 5" on the ground. Results on only the third pass was a 1. 81 60FT. (2WD) I know with more testing on the launch the tire is very capable of a 1. 7 60FT. Here are some pics... ... ...

Hey Wayne are you still playing with the little black Buick also? Would this be the tow rig? :-laf Or the use to be tow rig.

Those (26/11. 5 16LT) looked to be too small in diameter for a really fast ET in the quarter. With your auto (. 69 4th) and 3:54's you'll only run 101MPH on the quarter @3200rpms or 107@3400rpms. You'll run out of RPM if you have enough ponies to push you that fast. it's even worse with a 5spd's . 75:1 fifth gearing.

I think you'll find once you get it to hook you'll be nosing over as you cross the line. according to my 1/4mile et to MPH estimations you'll only see, at best a 12. 70'ish et on 26" tires and 3400 RPMs.

I figured you guy's would like that setup. I don't run tubes you wont need to, they don't leak at all. They don't make a 17" i'm not aware of any slick that does for our trucks. The best ET to date was a 12. 35@109. 80. MColeman I still run the GN and my truck is the current tow rig. My goal is to get the truck in the 11's and still be able to haul my 28' enclosed car trailer up a mountainside :) ToddT these tires are 30" in diameter not 26" but I did go 109mph on 28 tall mickey thompson ET streets, the truck has never nosed over no matter what tire was on it :D
