M/t Classics, or Challenger's ??

Which would look better? Is anyone here running these wheels? I like them because they are made by Alcoa and they look great.

Not too awful expensive, 160-170 bucks.

And DISCONTINUED!!!

M/T's forged Classics and Challengers are Disco'd because Alcoa (who made them for Mickey) Stopped producing them.

The Classic II's are still available. They are not forged (cast) and are not made by Alcoa.



I learned this the hard way. I was planning on getting a set of Challengers and searched frantically all over the country for a set. Couldn't find any... . :{



But in my honest opinion... The Challengers look better

Man, I'm glad I got mine in time. That was close. Summit Racing shows M/T part # 268481 N/A.

I didn't check the top link though.

I have a set of eagle 102's coming Monday. 17X9 with a 5" Backspacing.

I agree Mactruck, the Challengers would look bad on my 91.

It actually (I believe) started happening about 6 months ago.

A few people posted about how these wheels were backordered everywhere. A number of dealers said they were in the process of being disco'd. So alot of dealers ordered a ton of wheels from M/T and Alcoa to get one last shipment.

Well that was that. The last shipment went out 3 months ago and alot of dealers were selling out of inventory until they ran out. This was about the time I decided to get them. I called M/T and they said - NO MORE LEFT. :{

I had found when I was looking for a set that alot of Retailers needed some serious updating on they're web sites. Beacause when they said they had them - when you called they didn't.
