I am getting ready to mount my M12000 in my Road Armor bumper, but in order to get the hand for ingaging/disengaging the winch, the mounting feet have to be forward. The Road Armor bumper does not make these accomidations----only for mounting feet forward?!?! Any one else have this problem? I believe warn only recommends feet forward on the 12/15/16. 5 winches. If this is the case----WTF do I do? I'd hate to think I wasted all that money on a bumper that won't work with the appropriate winch (i. e. 1. 5 * 7000= 10500 (+ resistance of whatever your stuck in). Any options or people with experience would be great----especially those with a RA bumper! Thx

I would think that there are enough Road Armor users out there to answer your question. Have you contacted Road Armor? Perhaps this was an option. I believe that you are correct that the feet must be forward on the M12000 as that is the way my M15000 required mounting. My Buckstop came with the mounting provisions for either orientation.

if it's a matter of the lever interfereing with the bumper, i think , call warn first to be sure, that you can remove the end cap bolts and rotate the cap to a different position.

winch mount

 Warn states that the 12,15,and 16. 5 have to have the feet mounted forward. They say really bad things can happen with the feet down. The winch is just not designed to take this kind of stress in the "feet down" position. I haven't heard from Road Armor yet. I did email them.
