Isuzu Trooper

Military Jeep w/ the CRD diesel

Absolutely!. remember the military isn't really concerned with speed as much as power. Thats why that truck probably has some really stump pulling gearing.

I remember the old duece and a half's with the Continental multi-fuel engines... what a POS... The little 5. 9 has GOT to be better than that!!

I say BS they gov doest have theses engines except for there tote truck's the Cummins you normally see is a 250 cummins in the 5 ton's That truck was done outside of Military Been around to many yr's to know better And besides I bet reason he is selling it is cause you can't reg a military Vehicle in Wis. any more

this can be done with modification of the motor mounts... Im guessing this was a mod @ the motorpool and this truck came up on the auction list as out of service either for mileage or years. . i think last year Gov't liquidation stopped sale because military stopped letting these go, instead were using the older deuce with modification instead of spending more money on trucks.
I have one sitting that i wished i could get back on its feet, i have a a new turbo whistler sitting in the can waiting to go into that unit.

That truck was built outside of the Gov that;s a early non intercooled motor somebody stuffed inthere and then painted it . that truck is not even painted how the military would Yes it can be done but that was not Gov done
