good to me.
ok, saturday we trailer mounted my BBQ. i flash burned my eyes(sat night). Italked my buddy into driving and we leave at 1100am sunday and get there at 1230 (supposed to be there at 9am). everyone is already tired of wheeling! we break out the bbq pit
#ad
, we then throw 45 burgers on (20lbs)
#ad
and unhook the trailer.
the mud pit owners asked where i had been, and that alot of people came back and came only to see "the old military truck". they said they are interested in renting just to us as our group is the best group they have ever had out there. i digress... ... .
so i tell our group "you've eaten" now get out there so i can take lots of pics and movies, as in my condition i dont plan on wheeling..... (eyes still hurt) i take pics of this and that when one of the guys gets his TJ stuck. its on a 4inch lift and 33's superswamper sx's. brett goes in his full size bronco with 32 superswamper truxus mt's and buries his truck too. im stupid and "sieze the day". i should add the guy with the 3 feet of lift on his dodge truck (no front driveshaft) told one of our guys that he doesnt understand why we come out there in our little trucks, as its no place for us... .....
i pull around, put some spectators in the back of the truck and get hitched up. i see the crowd build, the spectators from the mud drags train eyes and cameras on me, and i figure this better work. i have no idea why, but at the time i wanted to try to use 3rd gear for wheel spin (still reverting back to my gas days i guess). i get a good pull, only to get "snatched back" by the strap. you can see brett spin the tires a little on the first pull. on the second pull i backed up , put it in SECOND low to engaged the clutch all the way,as the strap went tight, i floored it. at the time i had no idea what happened, or happened after. I heard the crowd yelling and saw everyone staring.
my michelins dig in and they said all the vehicles "stood up" at once and start moving. instead of stopping i pull them all the way around... brett lays on the brakes trying to stop me, and since rob is backwards he has his jeep in gear and im still pulling them all. i never could tell that they were doing that. not till i stopped did i realize it... .
anyway... . i bet yall wish i had it on video... . sounds unbelievable to pull out a bronco and wrangler at the same time. . , doesnt it????
sorry... .
