Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Mach 2 vs. Bosch 300hp Injectors

Does anyone have any info on which of these injectors are better?

Mike, Mach 2 injectors produce 105HP and the RV275 (aka Bosch300) :-laf are rated 40 -45 HP



I guess it all depends on how much HP you are looking for

You won't be happy with the 300 injectors..... I recommend the Formula 1 injectors!

Apples and oranges. Bosch injectors are good injectors don't get me wrong, but the power difference between an otherwise stock injector and an EDM injector will be mind boggling. If you tow a lot, you may want to consider the EDM mach 1 or mach 1. 5. Check them out at www.f1diesel.com

Thanks for the info. I'm not really familiar with all of the different injectors out there. I tow a lot and I was looking for some more power. I was planning on upgrading my exhaust first and then adding an EZ Comp. I see a lot of people out there with the mach 2 injectors. Are those too much?

I really like the Mach 1. 5's I have and I think you would definatly need to upgrade your turbo too with Mach 2's. I love the spool-up with the stock turbo and 1. 5's, its about as fast as it can get, and I can keep the egt's at 1150* pre turbo pulling long grades.

If you tow, get the 1. 5s and fuggedaboudit.



The 1. 5s are the best all-around towing injector you can get. They will allow you to tow any legal weight up almost any hill even in reasonable altitude-- and you can keep EGTs under control the whole way.



The 1. 5s also deliver the best mpg of any injector-- even better than 275s. It's all about the efficiency... .

I can support the mileage statement about the 1. 5's too, as I got anywhere between 19. 4 and 22. 6 empty traveling at 77mph from Houston, Tx and Ventura, Ca.
