Just got home from Craig Johnson's, Big Power Diesel in Palmdale Ca. with Mach 4's installed, wow, what a difference, I even got better mileage as well, 18. 6 on Freeway not going over 72-73 MPH, I normally averaged 16. 0 or worse with the 275's that I chucked into the Garbage today:(

Did anyone here experience Better or Worse mileage after install?

Congrats Joe, That thing must be a true Carnival ride now. .

Hey, Hear that?? Sounds like BOB4x4 sniffing the air for burning clutch material.

I have for the most part have taken it easy on the GoPedal even though I get my fuel for a ridiculous price, but then, I really dont want to melt a new Con OFE, now that I dont get such a good deal on...

Check this out Phil,

I took my Tailgator pit with me and we had a Tri-Tip Luncheon over Red oak wood, while Craig was working on the Mach's

My birthday is approaching soon, could possibly have a BBQ, will keep you updated...

Joe

I know the Overhead is way incorrect, but now it shows 31 when cruising @ 70MPH, as where before it dispalyed 23...

However, I like them better and the odor is more Lethal for the little cars that pull up next to the Sewer pipe @ the Signals:)

Joe, You Are The Man!!

I gave up on fuel mileage. I figure build it for the drivability you are looking for and let the mileage fall where it may.

i got 18-19 with my MACH 4s and PS62 on a trip to Columbus OH and back. It is less MPG than the stock setup - i was getting 21-22 with stock sticks & turbo with COMP on 2X5.

I did keep COMP box on 2X5 with the 4's and 62 - i should have turned off the box or ran 1X 1,2,or3 to see if mileage was better. Guess i will have to wait til the next long highway trip.

I realized,

We're too far deep into the BOMBING stages to worry about Mileage, especially when you let the coals roll in 5th. 35 Miles Per Hour:)

I'm bombed to something near 500 hp & I still get around 20 in every day driving & 25 at steady freeway speed. The key is in the use of the skinny pedal. Big sticks & advanced timing can make for better milage only if one shows restraint with the right foot. It's pretty easy to squirt big gobs of fuel other wise.

1st short trip to Camarillo, 20MPG huh?

I also changed my tires as well, I went from 295/75/16 to 265 75 16's was smoother all the way around, Wondering if I put on a Muffler if that would chacnge the MILEAGE in any way?
