I had Mach II EDM injectors installed last week while truck was in the Cummins shop for overhead adjust. I wanted to share some first impressions with others/compare notes:

First: wow! What an excellent product!

I turned the PM3 box off so I can get used to just the injectors. I also want to monitor mileage for a couple of tanks to see the impact.

Throttle is much more touchy now -- I should have expected this. I am also feeling like a novice stick driver trying to get off the line smoothly with light throttle.

Very smooth linear progression of power. Feels stronger on bottom end than the TST box, but flatter on top end. My suspicion is that the TST box fuels harder at higher RPM with turbo spooled up, making it feel faster on the top end... .

... . so more bottom end with the Mach II's and more top end with the PM3 will be nice! :D

When stepping off the throttle, idle would "undershoot" to 400-500 rpm before bouncing back up to 750rpm, but this has gone away in the last couple of days. I suspect the ECM was relearning how much fuel to apply to hold a nice idle with the new injectors.

Very little smoke under low rpm/full throttle -- very impressive!

Has anyone dyno'd a 3. 54 ratio 5speed ETC with Mach II's and PM3 box? My "butt-o-meter" tells me I've added quite a bit of power, but have no numbers.

Thoughts?
