Our 2001 died on the wife about a month ago age it was the lift pump. Surprise, Surprise... So with 98k on the truck I figured to take it to CROWN DODGE in Ventura, CA... . They have done more to **** me off along the way than any FIVE STAR Service center should be allowed. :-{} They changed the lift pump and recomended more work Ha! So now the tach is becoming erratic, truck died on the wife again and sounds like the solenoid on the starter is not making up the high current contact... ... They did the TSB for the power center, I wonder what else they FIXED???? :confused:

I really hate letting anyone work on my stuff... :{

Use the search feature on this site searching for "Crown Dodge". You'll find others that have a low opinion of this dealership.

Oh ya that would be me, They ****** me off to no end. After posting a few negative remarks about there 5 shooting star service I got a rude call from there service manager cursing me up and down. He told me I was Fing with there lively hood. Anyway to make a long story short, That place can kiss my. There are some of the posts on Fritz's page, check them out. And don't go back there again. Good luck.

Crown DODGE

I wreck my truck and had it tow to Crown Dodge. Five day,s latter we could not find it. It was out in there back yard with all my gear in it and the keys hanging in the door. I haul it oyt of there as fast as a wrecker could . Howard

Yeah, The first time we took the truck in there for the seat box cover lid, which they said they had the parts for, They took off with the truck before we had signed the work authorization. I followed the truck to the back to get my stuff from the truck to find the hood up with the mechanic taking the dipstick out. I asked why he was under the hood and he replied that I should not be back there. I told him I owned this truck and had not granted anyone permission to work on it yet and demanded to know why he had the hood up to fix the seat box? He said that someone from out of town was stranded and they needed a dipstick to get them down the road and figured that my truck would be there overnight so robbing the parts would be OK. He did not know that I was waiting till the repairs were done to drive it home... He was going to "strand me"... ... I was a mechanic for a bunch of years and have seen all the tricks. I hate to use the word sabotage but things don't just suddenly cascade in failure. Just to thinking about it the AC failed after the dealer visit as well..... I Hate Dealers... Just Rude.

Hey Rwhites did your user name use to be Greatwhite?? Because he had his truck in there one time the same time mine was and they were robbing parts off his truck to get someone on the road. Story sounds similar. I was waiting at that place an hour one time for them to bring me my truck from there dirt lot out back, then suddenly I hear a truck pulling in the drive that sounds just like mine. Turn and look, well I'll be god dam if isn't my truck full of yard monkeys pulling in from lunch. Talking about being ****** off or on for that matter. Once again they blew me off like they had the right to use my truck as a roach coach. Dont go to Crown Dodge Ventura Ca.
