Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Mad Ecm?

I was looking around at fueling boxes and came across the MAD ECM (coming soon) at smokindiesel.com. I was thinking about picking up the Edge Comp box but now maybe I should wait for this ECM. Doe's any one know any specifics on this thing?,whats"s the approx. cost?. Where I work,coming soon means maybe in your lifetime.

Well, the MAD ECM has been coming soon for a quite a while from what I can tell...

Get the Comp Box

Go ahead and get the Comp Box as it is real and you can buy it. Not like the MAD ECM where they tell you it is coming soon and soon has been over a year and a half. What would later be?





Don't waste you time waiting on the MAD ECM. Like mom always told me don't hold your breath.





Not saying that they are not out there but I am saying that if you don't have the right name them you are not one of the blessed to have one.





I was hoping for a Mad ECM but as you can see I got a Comp box and know that anyone else can have it as I am no one special.

Please understand one thing... Products should not and are not going to hit the market, at least from us, until they are 110% tested, proven, and flawless...



Yes there are a few of these ECM's on the road and this is for testing. Not sure what you are referring to when you say, someone with the RIGHT NAME, but to be honest with you, no one except us really know where these ECM's are being tested, so who ever told you that special people have these, they are flat out lying to you... And personally I really take offense to that comment...



Yes it has been a long time and believe me, we want it out there too, but we are still troubleshooting it. Not that there are any major problems, but it is just small glitches. Believe me, Marco has done an excellent job and the product works great, however, there are small minor glitches that we are still experiencing that we do not want the average Joe to experience on the road.



We hope to be on the last portion of testing and things are looking positive at this point, so please hang in there...

You gotta hand it to these guys for their tenacious R&D. It'll probably work better than the original Oo. Just don't make me wait until I'm retired on a fixed income and can't afford it

I was waiting for the MAD ECM and almost went MAD. So I bought the EDGE Comp last fall. That doesn't mean I've given up on Marco's baby, too many extraordinary features that push my buttons. I won't be the first on the block with the MAD ECM, but it will come. If Marco is that patient, what's another year?
