Mag-Hytec cover on a 11.8 AAM axle

Has anyone done it? Does it fit? I'm looking to add this upgrade to my 2013 at its first rear differential fluid change. Geno's catalog only lists the 11.5 axle not the 11.8. So is anyone running a Mag-Hytec rear differential cover on a 3.73 or 4.10 dually truck? Ken Irwin

Since our 3500's don't have a rear sway bar, it should work just fine. Some have fit the OEM / '13 & up finned cover on the '14 & up 2500's with coils with only slight rubbing to the sway bar and only slight modifying / grinding to the rear cover.

11.8 and 11.5 have the same bolt pattern so the covers interchange, except for suspension bar interference being possible with coil springs and the track bar.

I took the MH cover off my '06 2500 and put it on my '14 3500 SRW, fits perfect. A little different scenario, just wanted to throw it out there.

I have an 06 Ram, 4 x4 Cummins, have 2 differential and one transmission pan now, great products.!

I kept the one off my '08 and it fit perfectly on the '13 and has been on for over a year.

I have not checked it out but I was told the cover from my 11 HO Dually will not fit my 15 RAM Dually with 4:10's and rear air ride.

OK thanks Guys. I new the bolt pattern was the same, just wondered if the thicker ring gear caused any interference problems. Since its been done I will order one. I will call like Dave says just to verify it. Thanks Dave for the contact info. I have two of their products and I think they are first rate. Ken Irwin
