Mag-Hytec DD pan install on transmission

I was going to install my new Mag-Hytec DD pan today and found the filter drop down extension kit has no gasket to go between the filter drop down block and the transmission the new filter has a gasket on it. is the filter drop down block just mounted metal to metal . Has anyone put this pan on your truck. Maybe you can let me know if I need a gasket or not on the drop down block. I do not want to install new pan till I find out and it is Saturday so I can not call Mag-Hytec to find out and I would still like to install this pan today . Your help would be appreciated.
