Are these worth the money? I am thinking about a front and rear one for my truck, who has the best deal on them?

I thought about one, but can't quite justify it. I go tthe covers from Yourcovers.com instead. They are more reasonable in price, and if you can powder coat you can get them unfinished and do your own color. The only thing I have seen that the Mag-Hytech has over them is the dip stick in the diff cover. For the transmission pans, I like the location of the yourcovers.com drain plug over Mag-Hytech's.

They do look cool and do help some with cooling. Its up to you. How bad do you want one? There are others that look good also at lesser prices. Check out Genos' Garage. I think he has them

I got my rear diff. and dd transmission pan from www.genosgarage.com. Reasonable pricing. I got the front diff. from Mr. Bob's Distr. (661-245-0319) for $20 cheaper than Geno's. Installed the front and rear diff. s myself, simple. transmission pan was installed with new transmission. I like them cause they cool better with more fluid and am able to run temp gauges off them. They also look good. I've had alot of people comment on them. I would buy them again.

Fox-

They have a nice gasket, better cooling, good dipstick and drain plug. Do you need one, NO. Do they look cool and did I get one, yes... . If you got the extra cash, go for it...

Mags are excellent quality. Stainless steel hardware and parts. Heavy precision cast and beautifully finished.

Nice diff and love the horns, Are you missing a shock bushing?

More oil is always a good idea, and the MagHytec will add about 2 quarts. There is a drain plug to make fluid changes quick and easy. There is a dipstick to keep tabs on the level and it is magnetic so you can identify particles in the oil.

Not that I know of. Those shocks are in a land fill. I have Bilstien 5100's on it now... . from Kent Kroeker

Mag Hytec covers give the rear diff about 2 gallons capacity, a good idea. They have a drain that makes changing the lube regularly a painless and fast operation. The dipstick and large fill hole really help, too. I just changed mine and I am darn glad I have the Mag because it is a real hassle and ruins your afternoon to change the lube with the stock cover. Also, Mag Hytec uses aircraft casting plants so they have zero casting porosity problems. Other brands have had leakage problems from casting porosity.
