Hello felllow TDR brethren!! I need some help. I just installed my Mag-Hytec diff. cover and I am little confused on the lubricant level. I measured the old pan fluid level and compared it to the new Mag cover and it appears that if I was to follow this measurement then the fluid would actually be under the fill plug ... . which barely registers on the dipstick of the Mag Hytec. I know there has been a lot of discusssion on diff. level with the stock pan so that is why I am asking. For those of you who have installed Mag Hytec covers on your 03 trucks... ... did you follow the measurements on the dipstick?? I have driven my truck with the new cover and the gear-set seems to be quiet ... ..... with the lubricant level at the fill plug level. Note : Fill plug is located in the middle of the Mag cover. Please respond if you have time. Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Thanks guys for the reply. I know it seemed liked a dumb question... ... but the measurements just didnt make sense according to the fluid level associated to the stock pan. Any way I will make sure I am up to par according to the dip-stick measurement. Thanks again!!
