Mag-Hytec front differential cover

Got an email response back from Jerry at Mag-Hytec today advising me that they are designing the front cover and hope to have it available in "2-3 months".

I talked with Jerry today. They have had a truck in for measuring, etc. Working on a mock-up. Jerry took my info for a "back-order"... . I'm good to go. I doubt we'd have gone this far if they weren't serious. I want one of these BAD. I wipe down my transmission pan and rear diff. weekly #ad

i got an e-mail saying that last week (several months out), he also asked me not to post it here so that he wouldn't be inundated with e-mails and calls... . so you might want to keep that in mind. i've been hearing rumors about a front cover for at least one year.

As John posted above, I've called on several occasions, and got the same response, 2-3 months out.

I hope it is true, but ? how serious they are...

It would be really nice if they made a package deal for front and rear.

I too have been waiting for one, but hold on. These things take time. Maybe they found a serious flaw and had to start over, we don't know. I know Roy, and I know he wouldn't let it out of his shop until it's perfect. He wouldn't sell us garbage, so let's just hang on, it'll be worth it.

You've got that right! I have been EXTREMELY satisfied with every product I have purchased from him (Mag-Hytec Dana 70 diff. cover, 47RE Deep trans. pan, and my new 47RE Double Deep trans. pan).

I know you're checking out this thread Roy... . remember, I want the same number for the front cover too.

andy... darn right he wouldn't sell us junk. i am so happy with my diff cover and trans pan i can hardly contain myself. HOWEVER, i am an mtv generation person and i want stuff nownownownow!!

24V... didn't mean anything negative about what i said. just passing on what roy told me (and maybe me alone... how depressing!). HOWEVER, if roy begins to realize the market for the front cover he may start cooking with gas and get it over with... something about a squeeky wheel and grease... .
