Mag-Hytec Transmission Pans

The pan does not appear to come with an extension to lower the filter. If this is correct, has anyone had a problem? Is the filter mounting gasket on the 48RE the same as a 727?

Did you get the standard Mag-Hytec pan or the Double Deep Mag-Hytec. My understanding is the double deep pan is suppose to come with the filter extension. The standard pan is the same quantity of fluid that the stock pans are, so there should be no need to lower the filter. Oo.

Only the double deep pan comes with the extension for the filter. Yes the filters are the same but there is no gasket on my 48re.
