Anybody know what the torque setting is for the diff covers bolts? I thought someone once told me like 20 ft lbs or something like that? And what weight oil are you guys running, 75W90? Thanks,

No more than 20 ft-lb. Factory spec is 30 ft-lb, but that's way too much.

I don't even torque 'em... I just snug them up. Not a drop leaked yet.

Personally I run 75w90 full synthetic (GL-5).

My transmission pan says 12 to 16 ft. lbs - the Mag-Hytec guy said 110 in. lbs. (again this was for the trans pan).



I just filled front and back with Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90.

instructions for mag hytec rear diff said 12-16 lb ft.



same here, amsoil sever gear 75w90, just this past weekend.
