What is the proper torque for the MagHytec Tranmission Plan for the 48re? The instructions that came with the pan say 12-18 ft lbs and the pan comes with a fiber gasket. I suspect that number is correct for the fiber gasket. But the o-ring-like original gasket for the 48re is what I plan to use -- and the shop manual says about 10 ft lbs (125 in-lbs).

I guessing 10 ft lbs or about 125 in-lbs is really the correct value to use.

Thoughts?
