2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Magic turn signals

Yesterday my turn signals stopped working, I checked the fuse, it was fine, the flashers worked fine. I did a search on TDR and saw some of everything far as turn signal problems go. I'm always in the habit of using my turn signals when changing lanes and making turns, so I'm riding along hitting the turn signal when I turn everytime, then like magic they started working again Oo. I just have a feeling this won't last long though. Anybody have an idea where the problem may be if they stop working again?

I guess my first thought would be the switch. But who knows, it could be anything. They didn't work on a '99 Ford van I worked on once and I was able to take the switch apart and all it needed was a good cleaning and lubing.
