Magna-Flow exhaust ???

Just went to the City Mufflers web site!! They have a Magna Flow PN 15958. If I don't have the drone with the STRAIGHT PIPE I shouldn't have it with a muffler?? Right?

Any one using this?

I am happy with my magnaflow installation. It is not very loud overall, but is loudest around 2000-2200 rpm. This may be what some are reffering to as "drone", but does not bother me. I was hoping the system would be louder than it is.

I tried for 3 months to get a magnaflow36" overall length muffler to no avail. They kept saying it's shipping this week and finally a lady at performancecenter where i ordered it said she would call them and ask. Came back they don't even make that size yet just wanted to see if there was interest so they could start to make it. ****** me off so i cancel my order and now have a 41" donaldson. It's straight through but pretty quiet, can here the turbo whisle good through it though.

MagnaFlow

I am using the MagnaFlow #14773 Muffler. This is a 30" muffler, overall length tip to tip of 36". Since I have an 03', we cut the pipe behind the CAT and installed a 4" pipe that fit into the 4" MagnaFlow, out to the 4" tail pipe. It is loud when you are hard on her, but it sounds real good. I had a Flowmaster on before but it was to loud and very hard to live with!

KevinO, don't know what to tell you. That is what the installer put on my paperwork. I bought mine from a muffler shop called, Speedway Mufflers in Fontana Calif. Call him and ask him what he used on my truck. Tell him Al Cerf sent you! Ask for Sparky; 909-823-1569. Hope this helps

Thanks, but frustrated I ended up with a Donaldson. My next one will be stainless and probably 5". Missouri doesn't have emissions on diesels but we have safety inspections and they check to make sure all the "stuff" is there.
