Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Magnaflow Exhaust

Has anyone seen or used both Magnaflow exhausts? The lifetime warrantee 15910 vs the limited warrantee version you see on ebay 15924. I know the lifetime one has a rolled tip but other than that they supposedly they are made of the same material but there's a big price difference. Anyone?

I have the cheaper system, works fine. I could not see where the price difference came in, a rolled tip can't be that expensive! It could be heavier tubing, and some of the price covers that unlimited warranty.

Ok... what did you pay for yours and where if I may ask. Anyone else with comments on the two exhausts?

The "A" system is 436 ss, polished muffler & 5" tip. The "B" or xl is 409 ss. Lifetime & 6 yr warranties. Both use a 3. 5 " downpipe & 30" muffler. Find your best verify able price, then call me Rip

Can't tell you how much, got mine wholesale through my brothers performance shop. I can't get them for anyone else at that price, go with Rip.

Per the Maganflow warranty statement the better system is 436 stainless and has a lifetime to the original owner warranty, the XL series is made os 409 stainless and has a 1 year warranty. They also have a two piece tail pipe that leaves the clamp joint exposed if you have a 4x4 truck from the view from the rear.

436 has more nickel and will not be as suspectibel to corrosion as the 409 material. If you really want corrosion protection get a 304 system it is the best available, cost more of course but is the best. If you have any questions call me we will be glad to answer them, we have had them all asked one time or another.
