It's actually the Magnuson-Moss Act. Go to this site:



http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/warranty.htm. Go to the section "Understanding the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. I did a Yahoo search and there are alot of sites with information on this warranty act.
