Magnusson-Moss Act

I am looking for a copy of the Magnusson Moss Act. I thought the FTC website would have it but I could not find it there. Does anyone know where or who has that?

Actually it is for the secretary at work. The dealer told her the for her warranty to be any good that she had to bring it to them for oil changes, transmission service, etc. and do it every three thousand miles. I was explaning to her that that was a false statement. I just wanted to find a copy and show her.

There is a statement in the act that states for them to tell you that they have to change the oil or you have to use a certain brand of filter they have to provide it free of charge. That may be why there is an approved list for the Cummins engine so they don't have to give away mopar filters.

mcoleman... ... ... yes, that is exactly what i was telling the secretary... she couldn't believe it. She was going to hunt for a copy of the act so she could read it. That is what prompted me to post on here because I know we have all heard and it has been discussed here before.
