Anybody read anything about the diesel Mahindra truck/suv coming to the US this year?



Supposed to compete with the Toyota Tacoma size truck, except it has a capacity to haul 2600 lbs and gets 30- 35 mpg.

I've read about it, but I don't recall it being available in the US this year... But I'm probably wrong as usual!! I think they're cute.

I like the looks myself, but some people don't seem to.



From what I've read, there supposed to start production March 2009 in India with final assembly at a plant in Ohio.



US sales supposed to begin in June 2009.
