HELP!!

I am bleeding motor oil from what looks like behind the front dampner pulley or the timing chain cover area..... Is this an indication of the "killer dowel pin"? What else could be the source of the sudden leak?? I am on a remote ranch in eastern Oregon, and will need to possibly find a mechanic in the Bend area... ..... any ideas?

Brad

Mine was leaking at the same place as yours. I turned out to be the gear cover plate bolts were loose (some finger tight). While I had it apart I got a KDP tab kit and tab the kdp and locktite the cover bolts.

97 12v..... I think I have found the leak. it appears to be on the drivers side of the fan pulley, nesxt to the block. Any ideas of what is back there?

I'd bet that having it towed 160 miles for Rip to fix would be less money than a dealer and a better job.
