This is the original patented eRAM electric supercharger. (Patent Number 6,328,024) (NEW IN BOX with all wiring and instructions) PLUS: an cold intake intake system for a Honda. (can be adapted /modified fit other cars as well)
The eRAM will produce air flow of 908CFM (actually measured at SEMA 2001 on a flow bench)and up to 1psi of pressure to most engine intakes. see the picuture below of the eRAM spinning 25,300rpm and pulling 55amps! Regardless of your fuel metering system, (i. e. MAP,MAF, AFM, or even carburetor), the eRAM will add 5-6% more Hp to your engines performance. Ideal for use on existing air boxes or Cold air/Aftermarket intake tubes, the eRAM is easy to install and is race and dyno proven to work on most all models of automobiles.
We used it on our Speedvision World Challenge GT Porsche and has been used successfully for over 3 years, as well as having documented HP gains at independent dynos. Many other cars have been tested with the eRAM with gains ranging from 7-14hp.
Don't be fooled by the Boat ventilator fans, Small computer muffin fans, or air swirlers that claim to make HP gains. The eRAM is a powerful axial flow supercharger that runs only at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) and draws close to 55Amps at 13. 5volts(ave)(700watts). Its 3. 5" diameter and computer designed highspeed impeller, can spin up to 25,000rpm and reach max speed in less than 1/10th of a second. Even a 2 liter engine will require 220CFM of air flow at 6000rpm. Any compressor that can't claim well above this will not work. Any compressor that only draws only 3-4 amps WIL NOT work either so dont be fooled.
The eRAM is a 700+ watt device. (almost 1hp) . To produce 500cfm and also generate pressure, which is key, you need to have a powerful compressor. A 50 watt boat ventilator fan will not even keep up with your engine air requirements, thus creating a restriction. IT takes power to make power!
Check out the website that shows the eRAM flying upward producing over 3lbs of thrust, or blowing a Duraflame log across the floor. Try that with your boat ventilator fan!!

The eRAM comes in 4 versions:
1. The eRAM 3. 0 (bell mouth inlet to attach to air boxes)
2. The eRAM 3. 0 inline. (to mount inline )
3. The eRAM 3. 0KN( to mount on the end of an intake tube with its own cone filter)
4. The Super eRAM versions of the above. The super eRAM is 2 eRAMs in series for double the pressure. (80amps)

Remember, to produce the kind of pressure we are generating at the flow rates quoted, you need an electric motor that can withstand 50-55amps and 700watts+. Any of the imitation electric superchargers use a low current motor. Even the do-it-yourselfer kits, use a 4-5 amp electric motor. (or even the newer "Clone" information kits spec a motor at 1/2 the power of the eRAMs 700watt, 50-55amp motor. These clones will NOT work. (so, save your $5. 00) ONLY a handful of motors are avaiable in the world to handle this task and they have to have rare earth magnets and high quality commutator, or be DC brushless. Subsequently, These motors are very expensive. Our prototypes 7 years ago used cheap motors for testing, and they only lasted a few dyno runs.
The current design is extremely robust and will out last your car's engine. Our Speedvision World Challenge GT race car has run the same eRAM unit for over 4 years now. This product is race proven, dont be fooled by ebay do-it-yourselfers with no race/performance experience.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY the home depot style ventilation, centrifugal blowers now being offered on eBaY for $50. they are 2. 7amps/12volts and will do nothing with their 35watts of power. ALSO, Do not be fooled by the "Build your own clone eRAM for under $60" these guys are selling plans that point you to parts that will not make a fan with anywhere near the pressure and flow of the eRAM. These instructions point you to websites of a 1lb thrust fan and 15amp motor. It will do nothing for your engine!! The eRAM is 700WATTS, thats 3+lbs of thrust, and 1psi of pressure/900cfm!! The motor and axial flow compressor fan alone would cost you over $275 if you bought the parts on your own!! (and thats without wiring,microswitch,connectors,adapter tubes, relays, assembly, testing and balancing etc!) Do the math, Save your money for a real axial flow electric supercharger, that works and works for the right reasons!!
The unit for sale is a NEW eRAM 3. 0 with an aftermarket AEM intake cold air intake tube. Normally, this eRAM would be sold for $299 and the cold air intake sytem for over $150. It is a complete kit with eRAM and cold air intake tube with air filter, pre wired, complete with relay, full throttle micro switch,and ready to install.
