I would be interested in your results, so far it looks like my B 100 will work at about 38 degrees. If I put a sample in the fridge it starts to cloud at 38. I can freeze it solid and when it thaws it looks just like it did before. What is the name of the additive you are testing JGK? and I assume you are adding it to homemade Bio correct?

It's called "B20 Winterizer" from Amalgamated, Inc. in Fort Wayne. Yes, I will be adding it to some home brew. I'll add the recommended amount to both straight bioD and B20, as well as maybe a B50 mix, and monitor it as the temperature drops with it in the freezer. I'll be trying to get some idea of the winterizer's affects on the different concentrations at various temps.

what i am testing is NOT biodiesel. it is a blend. check out at www.diesel secret energy.com. my test mixture would cloud at about 32f. gelled at 0 in frezzer overnight.



i installed my fleetguard coolant heated filter today. i will be test driving my first batch tommorow. will post my impression in a couple days.
