I'm not sure if my "PSC Hydro Assist Steering" tittle was too lame or what. There were over 200 views but I really thought there would be more than just a few questions. I wanted to make sure everyone with steering issues realizes it doesn't have to be that way.

My PSC kit puts my 02' on par with my 06' that has rack and pinion steering. Stop messing with all the POS reman steering boxes and fix the problem once and for all. The PSC hydro kit makes my truck steer better than it did the day I bought it. The hydro assist is truly the Holly Grail of all steering fixes. Turning lock to lock on dry pavement can be done with just a few fingers. It's not a cheap kit at around $950 but it's really money well spent if you can swing it.

Okay, I know that you both have 4x4s and mine's two wheel, but what made my steering improve dramatically was changing over to the 3rd gen 17" wheels from the 2nd 16" wheels. Less sidewall flex and way better handling. BTW, I have 186,000 on the original steering box, and about 12,000 on new lower control arms and ball joints.

I sent you a PM and figured I post this info from the PM for others to see as well.

If you check out the second page of postings you will see the "PSC Hydro Assist Kit Installed" posting. I have pictures posted there as well. I should have done this kit years ago. Instead I wasted time and money trying reman box's and regular AGR boxes. Check out the posting and let me know if you have any questions.
