I bought me a new truck in '96 and spent the next bunch of years making it bigger faster, stronger, blah blah blah. About 10 years ago I hooked up with a lady who had her own one ton Dodge diesel, an '05. It is bone stock. It also has about 200 K less miles on it than mine, so it has become the designated tow vehicle. I just got us a new 33 1/2 ' fifth wheel. so we got a load to tow. First things first, (except for the Denver Offroad Bumper being built) is stopping. I put a B&D exhaust brake in mine, and I also had the full transmission upgrad compliments of Goerend Brothers. I also have a bunch of gauges. My concern primarily is if the stcok transmission will handle the increased strain from an exhaust brake. No gauges, no pyro. I understand if I put a Bulldog tuner in I get a full set of gauges opened up with that, except for maybe a pyro. Also, the '05 auto transmission is not directly compatible with an e-brake, so I need a seperate controller for that also.
So anyone have experience with putting an e-brake on a bone stock truck and hauling heavy with it in regards to it's effect on the transmission?
Thanks.

No effects, it handles it just fine.
There are countless trucks out there hauling heavy with a stock trans and an EB. All 47/48 RH/RE handle an exhaust brake just fine.
