Making a sport later....

I've got an 03 Laramie, have ordered the sport grill insert. I can live with the chrome crossbars as they will match the grill insert. I've removed the black plastic airdam to make room for the 17x9 wheels my 35" BFG's are going on to tomorrow.



So now I'm looking at what's left of the Chrome bumper. I know I can paint it but I was wondering- do the factory sports just have a painted fascia that goes over the bumper? Anyone been down this road?

What color is your truck? Mine's Graphite and I wouldn't mind having the chrome bumpers. (swap? not sure what it would cost for shiping though)

The trade concept is fine but I'm concerned about the "trimmed" airdam- do you have any pics?

I'm probably going to swap to an ARB or some other type of front bumper with winch mount. I don't know what I'll do with the bumper, but maybe it'll be up for grabs. Mine's a graphite sport. Not really sure what's involved yet, either.
